Somewhere, Over the Rainbow
In 1939, the world greeted a magical film. Starring Judy Garland, The Wizard of Oz transported audiences to a magical land. The visuals and the music were awe inspiring.
Perhaps the most memorable song was „Somewhere, Over the Rainbow” from the very beginning of the film.
—————————
Somewhere, over the rainbow, way up high
There’s a land that I heard of, once in a lullaby
Somewhere, over the rainbow, skies are blue
And the dreams that you dare to dream really do come true
Someday I’ll wish upon a star and
Wake up where the clouds are far behind me
Where troubles melt like lemon drops away
Above the chimney tops, that’s where you’ll find me
Somewhere, over the rainbow, bluebirds fly
birds fly over the rainbow why then oh why cant i?
If happy little bluebirds fly beyond the rainbow
Why, oh, why can’t I?
